Lady Indians 2009-2010 Season Record & Results

Highlights:
With a record of 17-14, the Lipan Girls had their best overall record in 5 years, first "winning" total. However, because their district was so strong, the girls did not make the playoffs finishing 4th behind Strawn, Newcastle and Gordon.
Lipan's junior high team went undefeated with 18-0, following only 1 loss the previous year.

Recognition:
Co-defensive player of the year: Shayla Wright
Newcomer of the year: Rhiana Michou, freshman
First team all-district: Zully Martinez, sophomore

Highlights:

>Won Regional Semi-Finals in a thriller over Paducah 51-50, then were defeated by Grady who in Austin was defeated by Nazareth the 2010 state champions making their 14th state appearance.

>Reached 3rd round of playoffs for 15th (18 of 19) straight year.
>Reached the Regional Tournament for the 12th time in 13 years, the 9th year in a row.

>Won district for the 18th time in 20 seasons (2 as district runner-up) while winning their 82 straight district game.

High Honors:

All Region: Seniors Bradley Waldrup, Chris Pittman  and Ryan Drake. All State: Ryan Drake. Also making All-District: was sophomore Trevor Williams.

TABC Class A Div II Coach of the Year: Coach Cody Chandler.
